Quick Trip

A last minute trip to Idaho was succesful.  The boys went ice fishing yesterday with Mark's dad and met Tony and his daughter at Henry's Lake in Island Park.  Tony is another Ivory agent.  We drove up Monday night and came home last night.  It was a beautiful day with no wind and Mark said the weather couldn't have been more perfect.  They brought back eight fish and had to turn the rest back.  Wish I could have been there for all the excitement as each fish was caught.  I hung out with the girls and Owen and Braden played after Braden was done with preschool.  At least we knew we were warm and safe.  Thanks for all your picture taking skills Mark!!

Frosty Temple Square

Jill saved us by driving from Idaho to bring us center pieces for our ward party this next weekend.  Thank you Jill!!  We met Jill, Sadie, Becky, and kids at a hotel and then went to temple square to see the lights.  It was a bit cold but the kids kept walking...frozen toes and all.  It is so fun to be with cousins!

Cramming in the hotel elevator with all our snow clothes
and little people!

Lindon Polar Express

It was a super cold night but we bundled up warm!  We were off to the North Pole to see Santa and then on the way back, a ride through Christ's life.  We missed the Nightmare Express, but this had a much better spirit.  Definitely no scary parts.  Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!

You are never too old enough to believe...right Kade? :)
What a good sport!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We were at my parents home for Thanksgiving this year.  Since both sets of my grandparents passed away, my mom and dad put together a little scavenger hunt to remember and tell stories to our children. We drove around Heber and Midway to little spots or past homes to show them.  So grateful for my grandparents and the legacy they left behind.  I have so many things in my life to be thankful for.  I am very grateful for my family!

Grandpa Guernsey's favorite place...and of course he always got vanilla.

Yay for turkey, rolls, yams, salads, and deserts!!
