A BIG Catch

While in Idaho, the boys got to fishing again in Island Park at Henry's Lake.  Both boys were able to catch some BIG ones!  Here are some pics.

If you can touch the fish with your bare hands, than you are a true fishermen!

Kade caught this beast all by himself!  5.6 lbs.

Cole Marker and his catch of the day!  3.4 lbs.

Relaxed in the hot tub when they returned!

Purser Gingerbread House Contest

We were given a gingerbread house kit with a poem attached from Mark's parents.  We were told we must create a house and bring it to Idaho on the 26th to be judged.  It was so fun to see everyone's creations!  Every member of the family had to participate.  Here are the masterpieces…

This one is our "gem."

Christmas 2013

I love the spirit of Christmas and love the joy that came with my little family as we celebrated the birth of our Savior.  Before we went to bed we watched "Joy to the World" and had cinnamon rolls Christmas morning.

My boys on Christmas Eve!

We spent the afternoon at Grandpa and Grandma Smith's.

Piano Guys!

Happy Anniversary to us!  Mark and I have been married for a whopping 12 years!  I should have known Mark had something up his sleeve.  He knows how much I love surprises!

These were in his glove compartment of his car.

Awesome seats!

They played all my favorite songs mixed with a few Christmas.
I'm so glad I have someone that will listen to it with me.
I love you Mark!!

A little foot action.

John Schmidt's dad self taught on the harmonica.

The red wig…hidden inside the piano bench.  Hilarious!

The concert wouldn't have been complete with out Alex Boye in Peponi!

Two in One

Yesterday was the Smith Christmas party and my parents anniversary party….and a little surprise that night!  Yay me :)

My sister, Carrie, worked so hard to make the day so nice and it was well organized.  The kids had so much fun!  We even got a visit from Santa and Mrs. Clause from the North Pole.  I love my family!

Cousins reading a poem for my parents.  Carrie made them a special book.  The line is not complete-missing the three cutest boys ever!!  We missed you Josh, Sam, and baby Benjamin!

The Nativity with costumes at its finest.

Patiently waiting for an unexpected guest.  Who could it be?

Please don't leave! :)

Oh yeah!

Mark had made some comment about WHAT??  Our anniversary is tomorrow?  I thought for sure he had forgot, but he had a plan.
