Our whole family was together on Christmas day! Not very often do we get to see Matt and Maritza. What a fun time we had while they were here and hope to see them soon. With three little boys in their family, we need to see each other more! Here is a picture of siblings plus spouses.

A Night in Salt Lake
I love Temple Square. This is the first time we have taken our kids to see the lights. It wasn't too cold and the lights were beautiful. It was the perfect night.

Christmas Sing 2012
The boys are off to school for the annual Lindon Elementary Christmas Sing 2012. Each grade sings a few songs but then all the grades sing Merry Christmas Lindon Elementary super loud and super crazy. Each grade wants to prove they can sing the LOUDEST. It is crazy. I wish the seating was different for parents for all performances at Lindon Elementary. Sometimes it is a little difficult to make sure I sit in the right spot to see both Kade and Cole. The school definitely has school spirit though.
Kade's 4th grade class, on December 19th met at The Seville, a retirment living center, and sang some Christmas carols and recited their poems they memorized for their class. Super cute!
Kade's Poem:
The score is tied
Hands smooth with sweat
Please, let the ball
Fall through the net.
I'm on the line
Shooting a pair
First one rolls off
Black hole despair.
Ball feels heavy
Bounce it once more
Slow breath
Let it drop for the score.
The ball is up
Universe waits
The ball drops in
69-68.

Carol Of The Bells
Kade has his piano Christmas recital next Tuesday. He played "Carol of the Bells" for me and I recorded it to post on my blog for those who can't make it. He is also playing two more songs. This one is my favorite.
Go Kade!
Go Kade!

The Happiest Place on Earth
We had so much fun in California! My parents and sister's family went with us. We stayed in Carlsbad and went to Disneyland and Sea World. We also toured the USS Arizona. The boys loved everything about visiting a retired navy ship. What boy woudn't want to see a huge navy ship and airplanes that were parked on top. Way cool!
I need to be a little honest here. Cole was just short of being able to ride Manta at Sea World. Mark spent 45 minutes trying to convince the lady standing at the entrance of the line (there was actually no line) that Cole would be okay. Mark wouldn't give up. He was 1/4 of an inch too short, but wanted to go on the ride so bad. After a quick trip to the bathroom, when the lady refused to let him on, Cole was suddenly tall enough to ride Manta. With a little bit of help from some extra tissue, he got to ride the ride 6 more times after that.
Here are some pics of our fun vacation! I am putting a lot on here. For future, if I want to make a book, I can't have it be a slide show. Watch out...there are a ton.
