Happy Thanksgiving!

We were at my parents home for Thanksgiving this year.  Since both sets of my grandparents passed away, my mom and dad put together a little scavenger hunt to remember and tell stories to our children. We drove around Heber and Midway to little spots or past homes to show them.  So grateful for my grandparents and the legacy they left behind.  I have so many things in my life to be thankful for.  I am very grateful for my family!

Flag Retirement

At pack meeting we got to see our first retirement of a flag.  A little history of where the flag was flown is given and then those boys in full uniform can participate in the unfolding and salute of the flag.  We all recited The Pledge of Allegiance.  It is then carefully put in the burning fire.  The boys were so careful.  Thank you to Brother Steel for helping out our cub scouts.
