Our Talented Pumpkin Carving Skills

On Monday for family home evening, we went looking for pumpkins.  There weren't many to choose from.  Our poor pumpkins seemed soft and a little bruised.  Trust me, we looked everywhere.  So glad the boys didn't care and they were just excited to start carving.  Don't look to close.  They look best with the lights off. ;)

Go Cougs!

We all went to the BYU vs. Boise State football game last night.  The weather was perfect.  We were warm and loved sitting close to the Boise State fans to show them we could cheer louder.
What a great game:  Cougars won 37 to 20!

Before we went down to our seats...

Louder Kade!
He was looking for his 4th grade teacher last year, Miss Bybee, who was cheering for Boise State.

Kamas Pool

We practically had the pool to ourselves.  One last thing to do together before the boys go back to school.  We had so much fun!

Owen went down the yellow slide all by himself.  This was his choice for sure. :)  He couldn't get up the stairs fast enough.  Mark watched from the top and could see his every move all the way down.  He fell back, he flipped over to his stomach, bonked his head, bonked his elbow and then managed to get himself back up for me to catch him at the end. With bigs eyes and a straight face, he survived.  Yay Owen!  He did it once and wouldn't try again.  Way to be brave.

No pic of Owen going down the yellow slide by himself.
I had to be the rescuer and catch him at the end.

Cole!

Kade!

Owen!

After swimming we stopped at Dairy Keen.  Don't they look spooky?

Don't get too close to him Kade. ;)

Not This Time

Our plans for fall break...

Because of our fabulous government, our trip came to a complete halt.  Super LAME.
A few tears were shed after all of my planning, but I am over it.
Sorry boys - next year!

Today we drove through the Alpine Loop.  What a beautiful day!

We stopped for a visit at my parents house.
Mark had a quick ride on Vinney.
