Just our little family went to St. George for three nights and got back on Saturday. It was a perfect little get away that was much needed. I love my boys! Owen thought the hotel was "St. George." When we were away from the hotel, he would say "I want to go back to St. George." When we would arrive back at the hotel, he would loudly say "St. George....we made it."
Swimming is always lots of fun! Whenever we were back at the hotel, these guys were in the pool.
Kade rescued this lizard from drowning. Owen found it while it was trying to swim and thought the lizard was a bug.
We visited the St. George Temple and visitor center.
Owen spotted this pic from far away. He recognized "Gethsemane" from the video online. We love this song. The boys are learning it in primary and Owen has heard us sing it. They all know it.
We went to Tuacahn to see Mulan. We sat on the front row. I was a little concerned how Owen would do. They were perfect and the play was great.
The Narrows in St. George.
A hidden treasure-especially for a family of all boys.
Mark and I turned back. Just a little too tight.
Kade and Cole made it through and waited for us at the top.
What brave boys.
Standing over the crack. Don't move!!
Brigham Young's house.
The original 2 pictures on this wall were hung up while he lived here.
A picture of Joseph Smith and Hyrum and the Salt Lake Temple.
Brigham Young's "Y" dish set. Very cool.
The original kitchen stove.
Their chair they brought across with the pioneers.
This bed was for hired help. He never called them his servants.
The bed was painted red with ox blood.
This cane was originally Brigham Young's.
This tree spilt while Brigham Young lived here. It had a little tree surgery performed to keep it from not splitting anymore.
I was there. I promise!
I love going on trips with just my little family. With how busy this summer has been, I am glad we had time for this.
I want my boys to stay little forever!
