With a little note from Kade and Cole, Santa came to Idaho this year. On Christmas Eve, Grandpa Purser packed his truck and took us all ice fishing. I was glad the ice was thicker than normal and we felt safe on a sheet of ice over the lake. After all the holes were dug, we were patient...very patient.....Kade caught 2 fish and Cole proudly caught 1!

After making cinnamon rolls, Mark said he was sure we should set one out for Santa.
We also left milk. (Soy milk-of course!)
Christmas day was relaxing and enjoyable. With new toys, the boys were happy and excited.
Cole and Kade's favorite part of the day was swimming in Grandma and
Grandpa Purser's hot tub!
On the 26th, we got together with the rest of Mark's family and saw "The Squeakquel." Grandma had a scavenger hunt for the grandkids and the adults played an awesome game put together by Mark's parents. We were told to bring these items:
A decorative box with these items inside:
P-purse (your everyday purse)
U-untensil
R-ribbon
S-screw
E-envelope
R-rubber band
F-foil (a small piece will work)
A-asprin
M-match
I-ice cream scoop
L-laddle
Y-your wallet (Mark's wallet)
We were given no clues, we just brought our box! The game had been a secret for a month and we look forward to see what they come up with next year. With a little creativity, it is amazing how much fun we had!
We are grateful for this time of year to remember the birth of our Savior and the example He is for our lives. We hope everyone had a memorable Christmas and we hope you enjoy the new year!
